I go through Wilmot every so often. Maybe I’ll try to swing by. :) Thanks for the pronunciation cue. ;) I live near Alstead, which is Al - stead, not All - stead. And people always pronounce my hometown incorrectly. It is South newFANE, not like the nearby town of NEWfane.

If you're able to stop by Nalla Farm, it's definitely worth the drive! There is absolutely no comparison between the delicious & flavorful freshly-picked produce and seasonal fruits (raspberries & strawberries) that you will find at Nalla Farm vs. what is available for sale at retail grocery stores!

It took me a minute, but I figured it out…. “there is no COMPARISON,” not “compasssion.” :)

An inspiration. I can’t help but sorrow for the damage done in a split second mistake. Not just one person’s life affected, but all those connected with him as well. Yet here is a man that won’t allow such a significant event to keep him down.

There are a few things I would like to add to this video. The first thing I would like to add, when you are opening and closing the drill. 1st and foremost Park your tractor and drill on flat level ground and put your tractor in neutral before doing anything. Once you get your road tires folded back, you will now use your second remote to drop down what we call the field tires. We will then once all four tires are on the ground, we will move our field tires either up or down by just bumping your remote so they move maybe 1 inch in either direction. Once you do that, that will switch the hydraulic control box from moving your road tires to the swing function on the drill. Now that you have done that, you will now open the drill until it locks itself in place, but keep in mind that as it is opening or closing it will move your tractor maybe a foot either forward or backwards and that is totally normal. Now, you will bump your remote for the field tires once again to switch that hydraulic control box to raise up your road tires. Now the machine is open it will act as a regular tow behind seed drill, and you will just use the one remote to raise and lower into the ground with. Secondly I would like to add that each separate Hopper inside the big seed box holds around 250# of seed not 50. If I'm not mistaken I believe it will hold somewhere between 1200 and 1500 lb of large seed. Lastly I would like to add that when you are calibrating seed mixtures of say for example Alfalfa Timothy Orchard Grass or whatever the mixture is simply figure out how many pounds that you are putting in the ground as a whole not individually. For example if you are attempting to seed 30 lbs to the acre, get the weight of whatever container you are going to use while it is empty. Next you will want to set your seed rate at your desired setting. I recommend that if you are using a Timothy Alfalfa and Orchard Grass mix that you put that into the large seed box because the Orchard Grass does not like to go through the smaller seed box very well. Now place your tarp that is included on the frame of the machine (inside the tube) underneath all of your drop down tubes, and between your tires. . Once you do that spin the end wheel 66 times in the direction of travel, then once you have completed that, take the seed, pour it into your container, and then weigh that. When you spin that and wheel 66 times, that will give you one tenth of an acre. This holds true for any seed that you put into that machine. Now, once you have your seed weighed up, you can use the formula that is on the box up on top or simply multiply it by 10. That will give you an accurate weight of the seed that is going into the ground per acre
