Ah yes specifically 2010 and up are cringed at 🤣. 2009 and below are just beautiful 😍. Shits for fun man. Always has been and always will be. Also this car only had a muffler delete so I'd say it's far from an actually modded corolla lmao.

That Corolla sounded so high pitched and raspy, not very deep at low end and super high pitched rasp high end - kind of reminded me of a honda. STI sounded real deep and clean.

Is that an aftermarket bumper or were you able to take off the fake tips on the stock bumper? My 2022 hatch should be coming next month (hopefully) and I work in an exhaust shop so that’s definitely something I wanna do

Rear valence as a whole comes off with some bolts and clips underneath. You can also remove just the fake exhaust parts. The diffuser is off of ebay.

Nothing beats the sound of an Sti with a nice exhaust atleast in the 4 banger category. I had a 2020 Wrx before my Sti and I hated the way the Wrx sounded with an exhaust just like every other Honda Civic.

do you know how much it cost you for only the muffler and cat delete. wanna do the same thing to mine but without swapping the resonator or anything else

Mmmm if you're just cutting em and replacing the cat piping then it be maybe 100 to 200. If you're adding on tips ect then maybe closer to 300. Just call up a shop and ask em. Any muffler shop will do it.

All in all I probably spent $500 but thats because I went back n forth between things. If you do it all at once it'd probably be cheaper

Too bad the new Corollas have a rev limiter at 4000 RPM. Is that a manual hatchback? At least with the CVT models you can put it in Neutral and rev up to redline

The secondary rev limited is at 4500 RPM. Mines a CVT, this was done in park but the only way to rev to redline is by going into neutral while moving. Doing it at a stop just acts like park.

@@ownubadboy10 Oh....so something must've changed in the 12th gen. I have two 2016 Corollas and they rev up to redline in both Park and Neutral, even when not in motion.

@VR Driver He was talking about revving the car in park (stepping on the gas = revving). Not "shifting" at all.
