I used to see Menudo on TV all the time from 1981 - 1984, by 85, I was a second year in high school. And I thought, I was too mature for Menudo, especially since the members coming in like Ricky and Raymond were so young. I recently watched their documentary and I am going back to revisit their music. I actually really like this album and this track is my favorite. It has a James Bond feel to it. Younger me would have loved this! 😍🌏

I lived this time with great pride Menudo. Unforgettable, you can't forget!!! 😍

I lived in PR during this time when my parents moved there from NYC. I dated a girl who looooved Menudo and we once went to some private party in San Juan that she paid stupid money to go to. Some of the members where there and I was just hanging out waiting for thing thing to be over; I was about 16 at the time. Some gringo fat guy comes up to me and asked me if he could take some photos of me and asked me if I could dance or sing. Back then I was into breakdancing and I told him yes, that I used to sing in a boys choir when I was a kid. I then asked what this was all about and he told me that he worked for Menudo as a photographer. They then sold these photos as these small shops. Anyway, yes, they were looking at me for the group but it never panned out. I have some photos with Charlie and Sergio and It was fun hanging out around them but I guess God had other plans for me. RIP RAY who was a really nice guy. I'm happy for these guys like Johnny Losado who have really good gigs on TV till this day and of course, Ricky (real name Enrique) whom I admire immensely and respect how amazing his career has been. And, I wish he would intensify his political career and wish he would run for Governor of PR. I have 4 boys of my own now and they have no idea who Menudo is and I've never told them this lol. Don't know if I ever will.
