If you add a piece of acetate or cardstock between the battery and the top of the switch that sticks out so that the recipient can remove it, that will stop it turning ok in the post. I hope that helps.

Love this card too! Just not sure how the last bit comes together. Do you seal the top flap to the bottom and then add to a card base, or does the flap have to be loose and not stuck down. Sorry, not sure how to finish off. Thanks. 😀

Can one use Alkaline button batteries for these projects ?

Most alkaline button batteries tend to contain 1.5 V, while a CR2016 or CR2032 lithium cell contains 3.2 V (when new). In theory an alkaline button cell containing 3V would work for your paper circuit, but it might not last as long as the lithium cell.

How long does a battery light up 3 to 4 lights?

The answer to your question is that it depends. In general, a fresh 3V coin cell battery can power a circuit containing one or two LEDs for several days if it is running continuously. It can last weeks if it is switched off between uses. There are many different variables that can affect battery life. For example, the longevity of your battery depends in part on how fresh it is and how much capacity it has. The life of your battery also depends in part upon the number of LEDs being used and their colors. If your battery is powering a circuit with more than one LED, it will use more power than a circuit with a single LED. If your battery is powering a circuit with all red LEDs, it will use less power than a circuit containing all white LEDs.
