I lived for these books when I was a youthful little dirtball....sister had Nancy Drew...I had all these books.... so very cool to hear you rescue them from the rusty, crusty depths of my geriatric but still sharp memory hole.... some times i do think that ignorance is bliss... know a lot of contented slow thinkers... well done good choice

I absolutely loved these books when I was growing up. And for the last 5 years I've been thinking of them again and searching a couple of times a year for the name on Google with the small bits of information I remembered. Then this month I tried with chat gpt and found it instantly!! Thank you for recording this little bit of well-needed nostalgia 🙏🏼 I very much look forward to having some bedtime listening.

More signs that the internet is being scrubbed and whitewashed with lies and/or mandela effected. 10, 12 years ago there was information, some of it plausible insinuation, that Dee and John's careers started much earlier than is now being presented. Terry Brown, also implicated in connection with namely "Paul McCartney" during the Pepper days and possibly during the Abbey Road recordings in which both members of Klaatu were used as studio musicians and voices. As I say, that information no longer exists on the internet. One thing that still remains is the unlikely concept that this band could be signed and maintain a substantially long record contract with Capitol Records without major ties and connections, while only producing one LP of any real significance.

One slight error…CHUM-FM in Toronto changed its format to album rock in 1968, not 1969 as he said. I remember it well, because in December 1968 I interviewed one of their DJs for my school newspaper, and since it was my birthday, he gave me a copy of The Beatles white album, which had just been released.

What has Alfred hitchcock got to do with these books ,,,anyone know
@SJHFoto11 ай бұрын
I have the entrire collection. Alfred Hitchcock himself had nothing to do with the production except to sell the rights to use his name. That said, I LOVED the fact that the 3 boys knew Hitchcock in the fictional stories!

Actually I found out that there are 58 original books but just ten from Robert Arthur. In Germany they got really really famous, the books AND the audio plays. In total there are 232 books right now and still no end in sight. Plus fun fact: the three boys are ALWAYS spoken by the same three voices for over forty years now. From being children to grown ups their voices didn't change so much that they still speak the three guys Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw and Bob Andrews as they are called in the German version. The three voices got real pop stars and fill concert halls with 14,000 people attending!!!!
