Who slipped Jack the extra Red Bull? Whoever it is, I'd like to shake their hand. Sweet Baby Jeebus, he's coming up on 70 in this video! I'm grinning from ear to ear.

have seen this kid with Buddy about 5 years ago. the show I was at. Quinn opened up the show for Buddy. Quinn came out that night wearing an old Frank Zappa apostrophe t-shirt. while played on Stage

The kid is super talented. The next step is learning to use the whole neck and phrasing. It's so great how Buddy mentors young blood. I have lots of music recordings but one of my top ten favorites is Buddy playing with a very young Jonny Lang on (I believe) Jay Leno doing "AIN't NO MIDNIGHT TRAIN". I had it on very poor quality VHS. I couldn't find any reference to it anywhere. It's now finally on youtube - also a low level video but the audio is great. Jonny putting every ounce of his soul into it. That song (the riff/hook) and their synergy was like Clapton/Bruce on Crossroads in 1968.

Hendrix leanred his playing with teeth and vehind his head from watching Buddy Guy Play in London after Clapton and Cream broigh Buddy guy to London and a number of OTHERS like BB King Albert King, etc to give them amd tjeor music the recognision it deaerved from whwre they were getting their inspiration! Its WHY BBKing and Buddy GUY ALWAYS face credit to Clapton (Especially) but also the Rolling Stones etc for changing both THEIR LIVES, BUT ALSO Music! Its why Jimi Hendrix came to England afyer watching Clapton, Rory Galagher, Rolling Stones, Peter Green and Buddy Guy in London! Theres old footage of Hendrix watching Buddy Guy in London in the Audience fromt row in 60s! Anyone who doesnt know "THE CREAM" (Eric Clapton Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce) YOU ARE MISSONG OUT OM IMMEASURABLE TALENT! 3 VIRTUOUSOS!! MULTIPLE GENRES MULTIPLE INSTRUMENTS (FOR BRUCE) AND JUST PHENOMENAL MUSICIANS AND MUSIC!! So do yourself a favour and go check out "The Cream".. 👌😎🎸

What is it with all these young kids (Black and White), getting all this hype on today's Blues scene, when all they're doing is recycling all the Cream and Hendrix cliches?

Yeah I agree, but it's gotta carry on, better than disappear! As it nearly has/had!) I posted this earlier. (I'm not illiterate, the bloody Chinese phone makes it look that way as I changed it and it cha.ges it back!) Anyhow hope you get the gist and. Where I'm coming from , I was born in London parents grew up in London as did both sides of my family, piss poor losing brothers sisters kids through the 2 wars and just salt of the earth hard as nails but do ANYTHING for ANYONE! Then had to move out cos immigration and people who don't have those values..anyhow I'm not and my family are not racist, trouble is those who came here last 40-50 years are or their kids have became that way AGAINST the English and British who welcomed them. It's SAD TIMES! WE DONT want to be VIolent, but if the war is brought to your LITERAL doorstep, what can you do.. it's so orchestrated by the WEF/WHO it's sick.. but it's should never be allowed to happen! This is now Global.(across the West!) It's WRONG! I remember by mum and dad telling me they watched Clapton, Jeff Beck, Blues Breaker's, Stones, Hendrix all sorts every Friday and Saturday night in various blues and Jazz clubs like Ronnie Scotts etc, Hendrix leanred his playing with teeth and vehind his head from watching Buddy Guy Play in London after Clapton and Cream broigh Buddy guy to London and a number of OTHERS like BB King Albert King, etc to give them amd tjeor music the recognision it deaerved from whwre they were getting their inspiration! Its WHY BBKing and Buddy GUY ALWAYS face credit to Clapton (Especially) but also the Rolling Stones etc for changing both THEIR LIVES, BUT ALSO Music!
