i remember 2 spiderman-ish beat em up games maybe some of you remember them too - first one was based on capcom sprites, you could play as symbiote spiderman and venom and you were supposed to draw symbols with your mouse in order to attack the enemy and second one was in 3D and you were able to make textures for your character in-game, 1 map from that game was a small bridge in a pure black skybox
