I know that Fallout fans are known for blindly worshipping ideologies the franchise tries to make fun of, but I can't bring myself to not love the Minutemen. United we stand, divided we fall.

Minutemen : The heart of an all good benevolent God with the might of a malnourished child. It's easy to be good when you are strong but not when you are the weakest and most injured.

I hate when the minutemen are ranked the weakest. They are, if you chose them to be. That's what is so great about this faction, how it grows depends on how much work you put into it. It's weak as hell at first but man, once you claim so many settlements and have artillery in each one and you'll be unstoppable

My ideal headcanon for Fallout 4 is a minutemen victory resulting in them reforming the Commonwealth Provisional Government in the long term, becoming the east coast equivalent of the NCR.

Always fighting for freedom, for liberty, respecting the property, respecting the individual, never charging anyone, no taxes. But trying to convincing people that they need to act when the time asks, trying always to help these in need. These basic principles are what made america prosperous and strong.

This is my favorite song in the game, it captures the essence of the Railroad perfectly. Such a great song!

although the overall design in this game is questionable, the Railroad is a cool faction, no doubt. I don't like the Minutemen since I realized that they're just a bunch of loosers with silly muskets and clothes, PRETENDING to be a recognizable armed force. so it was supposed to happen that they ended up being ravaged and scattered. they can't do anything without the help of MC. it is safe to say that the Minutemen are a 'pocket faction' for a player. as soon as I got tired of crafting and building settlements I dropped this crap and started a new game. on the other hand the Railroad has many ways to affect the world. everybody talk about them, everybody either like or despise them. but it turned out they are just a small group. threatened of being annihilated, acting here and there from the shadows. they are this subtle and intelligent force I missed, since there are no Followers of the Apocalypse (my favorites in all Fallout universe) in F4. in other words, the Railroad is my FA in F4. no wonder they have an outstanding OST. though I've never finished the game. it's too big and more importantly - it's like a woven blanket, made from far too different pieces of content, some of which are awesome and the other are not, to say the least

Clarinet ruins the theme

After all the hours i sank into this game, the game that started my love for this series years ago, the raiders i fought, the companions i grew strong bonds with and loved like they were real, the impact this game and series had on me as a person, the betrayals. The good parts. The bad parts. And everything in between, although. I caught word that a settlement needs our help here ill mark it on your map

Shame that the final fate of the Sole Survivor will probably be turning into a raider warlord, there is no way bethesda makes open season the canon ending of nuka world

Awesome track. Loved it the moment I stepped into the cellar of that Slocum's Joe - and I didn't even know why it played there at the time. The hints of Morse code, while the instrumental bits remind me of James Bond music. Very fitting for the secret agent vibe the Railroad has going. I really don't get why they seem to be unpopular. I often like rooting for the underdogs. Their precarious situation makes them more appealing to work with, not less.

The amount of goosebumps i get from this is unreal. The minutemen are by far one of the best factions in the fallout universe. As fucking irritating as it was being assigned to saving a new settlement, i would still prefer these guys over the railroad. Always remember these words, lads. I was sooo hooked with the minutemen that in the course of the whole game build a system in wich settlers who came to the castle became sort of new volunteer recruits for the minutmen and started building up an massive army All were armed to my standard issue equipment wich is 1. A laser musket (no matter wich attachments) 2. Minutmen uniform 3. Helmet combat or army 4. Combat vest The veterans (the ones who helped capture the castle) recieved more armor then volunteers And i would spread my soldiers out to big settlements acting as guards for those settlements

The Minutemen are more decent and legitimate than the BOS. Even outgunned and outnumbered to the opposite of their enemies,they keep fighting for freedom and justice.

Still doesnt beat “the two headed bear” from NV, but pretty damn epic

BOS will always be my favourite faction, would have been soo much better if Elder Lyons was still incharge. Railroad is a fun faction to side with though

The only truly good faction and the best hope for the commonwealth the brotherhood at least in fallout 4 are let’s be honest nazis the railroad are good but they only help one type of people and the institute is the institute but the minutemen are good they come and protect people for no reason they don’t ask for loyalty food money water land they just come and help because it’s right and there supposed to be a militia but let’s be honest we all use mods to have them have ranks and laser weapons and combat and power armour and stuff don’t you lie to me

This is my only favorite thing about the railroad 😅

Went to far with the BOS and pissed off Desdemona, Cut 2 hours and reloaded old save.
