Which part of the styx was this?

This spot on the banks of the Styx River is reached via the Styx River Ramble walk, which is located almost exactly opposite the famed Big Tree Reserve walk on Styx Road. A copy of the guide to the Styx River Valley can be found and download at the following link. www.bluesquaremaydena.com/uploads/1/0/7/8/107885203/styx_guide_1.pdf

This is actually a different spot to that infamous occasion! Leven Canyon is about 30kms south of Ulverstone, near Loongana, where as the Alum Cliffs which we have frequented, where "the incident" took place is just North Of Mole Creek, in the Gog Range.

@@alltassietravellers9994 I see I see. Looks very similar, including the river bend!

@@snakeeater3123 It is incredibly similar in topography, yet it has a very different feel when you're there in person. Highly recommend you check it out. There is a a walk from where that video was taken, all the way down to the riverbed, which we didn't get a chance to do, but I'm sure the views from the bottom of the canyon would be equally spectacular!
