Thanks! It inspired me to hear! For a number of years, I was very popular and was popular in England and Germany. I had a ukulele burnout before Covid started so I haven't done anymore more videos. I plan on doing more this 2024! I can still play and sing well. I need to get back to it! I've been playing mostly piano the past few years. The ukulele is great for Latin American music. There is a Colombian stringed folk instrument that sounds a lot like a uke. My friend Carlos told me about it. I forget its name but I heard it on some YT vids he sent me. In Ottawa/Gatineau here, we have the University of Mexico affiliated language school (UNAM) and I took two years of night courses so I could learn to pronounce properly and sing in Spanish. I already speak fluent French so it helps when earning Spanish. Hasta la luego.

@@jorgequito9562 They don't make the Martin 0 anymore. I assume you're talking about the Martin 0 that was in my video with the 5 sopranos. Or are you talking about a vintage Martin 0 uke? I recommend to start with the S1 soprano. It's made in the Martin factory in Mexico and sounds and plays great. I gave mine away because I had already the higher end Martins. The S1 is worth the money. Long and McQuade have them for $559. Let me know what you decide.

Great playing and demo! I was gonna recommend the S1K but since it was introduced in May of 2023 and discontinued in November, there are very few left in stores. Martin never said WHY they discontinued these beautiful Koa sopranos but with only 6 months of production for only one year, I think it’s logical to assume such a small amount made will make the prices go up on these on the collectors market.
