I've only ran it a few times with 3s but haven't had any issues and also ran the jetwood rc buggy on 3s which has the same system in it with no issues

I gotta say, snow bashing is a blast!! I dont go crazy, as the cold certainly makes the plastics more brittle, but for some unique thrashing, and slides you weren't prepared for, but still enjoyed, a snow bash is a blast!! Excellent videos, what are your thoughts on the upcoming traxxas mini maxx?

It would have survived on grass possibly . That’s a for sure break on concrete . In general , 1/8 size doesn’t like pavement and bad landings from my experiences but they re great when landing on all 4s in grass imo .

I looked for one and can't find it. Even checked mjx hyper go and nothing for thar either. Parts are available on Amazon tho. Hyper go jetwood and deerc 16th scale are pretty much all the same

They are literally the identical vechile. I have both and do love the Talion but looking at them, the differences are so minimal. The tires for one. The Talion has lsd setup in front, center and rear while the Kraton has open diffs in the front and rear and an lsd in the center. Other than that, the Kraton now has the aluminum diff housings. I can't see many other differences. Toss the Talion's tires on the Kraton, put on a larger pinion and you then have two Talions. Literally. That said, I have had the Talion hit 71 mph on the stock sysyem with a 20 tooth. 23 tooth on the stock system is gonna get to 80 mph. And this with the gen 1 Spektrum system, which did break literally one year exactly into buying it. I suspect the Black edition esc will make it a bit faster.

It may be that the ball cups from the steering tie rod are mounted the wrong way. If they are facing to the rear they're grinding on the rim from the tire until they brake. They must facing forward in order to give enough space for the tires when turning. After the first cleaning session i installed them the wrong way and after i broke two of them i thoght i was going crazy because i couldn't find the issue.

I think the Kraton is amazing. Put some Dboots Backflips on it and it’s amazing. My Fireteam breaks every time I take it out… rear diff last week and front diff this week. I launch the Kraton 40-50 feet and haven’t had any issues.
