TOP SHELF COMPOSITION + TOP SHELF PERFORMANCE = TOP SHELF EXPERIENCE! Which is a long-winded, tedious and mathematical way of saying great job!

As a horn player I love the solo however I love the dialogue between the horn and clarinet there and the opening clarinet solo just as much ❤

Celi forever!! La grabación es de mala calidad porque es "pirata". Está hecha desde el público.

Now lets wait for official release from Munich phil on their MPHIL label. Fun fact. I've chatted with Friedrich Edelmann (principal bassoon player during Celibidache's era) and he wrote in his memoirs that the tickets for this concerts were sold out so quickly and demand for more tickets was so high that they organised extra concerts on short notice. In total they played Ein Heldenleben ten times in ten days. Always to sold out hall. Also where did you find such rare recordings?

55 minutes? It seems really to much but it is amazing.i don’t know for which chemistry he’s able to do that.bye

La obra es hermosa y la dirección de Celibidache, es insuperable; esos "ralentando" le dan un toque único.

This recording is a half step too sharp (possibly too fast as a result), could you correct it and re-upload?

1991 ? Really ? When exactly ? For this symphony I've only 1986 or 1987 with MPO...
@Zeol-vd5zt2 ай бұрын
You are absolutely right. The recording is from a 1986 concert along with Mozart's lieder K431 and K490. I sincerely apologize for the mistake, and thank you very much for bringing it to my attention. I'll correct it.
