I have plans to visit Madeira beach over Christmas. However after seeing your video I am rethinking it. It saddens me to see so much damage. I have never been to Madeira beach- I was looking forward to visiting for the first time; planned to stay close to John’s pass. My potential landlord won’t give me a straight answer as to how bad the damage from the hurricanes are. However your video just showed it to me. Thank you. God Bless

They check every truck going in and out now because after Andrew people posed as clean up crews and loaded tons of copper and aluminum in dump trucks, and made out like bandits.

Sounds like the same story my daughter is going through. She ended up in Georgia after changing hotels three times. She works remotely and there is no power in St. Pete. Good luck.

@@MechellLordFL Fortunately the hotels waived the pet deposit and the second hotel waived the parking fee in Orlando after my daughter guilted them. Hotels became expensive. Couch surfing is not fun but free. Her kitty is missing home too. Just awful what you all are going through. I can’t even imagine.

NO! Never the ocean! Some will be incinerated, some will go to the landfill, trees, limbs will be chipped for the winter. There's so much it will be spread across the many sites until it's taken care of. Florida doesn't dump debris in the water. Our governor only allows millions and millions and millions of radioactive, toxic, and polluted waters to be dumped into the water, primarily the Gulf of Mexico.

PLEASE YALL. EVACUATE. DO NOT STAY for Milton!! All that debris will become deadly projectiles when it hits. You may have to leave your flooded homes again and if winds are in excess of 150mph, you more than likely won’t make it to safety. Storm surge projected 15ft. At 8ft of water surging in, you are unable to open your doors. You would have to try to escape out a window if you didn’t already board it up. If you did, you will be trapped and at the mercy of the storm surge and everything left over from Helene lining the streets slamming into your house. PLEASE DONT TAKE THAT CHANCE to stay. Structures are already damaged from Helene. Y’all have never been up against a hurricane like this since the 1920s that hit Tampa. Officials are saying if you stay, you will die. Even if it backs down to a cat 3 storm, it will still be deadly for all the reasons I listed! I am a retired nurse and I hope y’all listen bc your life has value!! Take your pets and go as far as you can while you still can. They are offering free Uber/lyft rides for evacuees. They are bussing people out from designated shelter areas. Hell hitch a ride with someone at this point. Remember the tsunamis of India? It was the second and third waves that were killers bc they brought all that debris from the first wave inland like a runaway train. Think of it like that if it makes more sense. I am not a Karen I promise. I am trying to save lives the only way I can rn. I do not live in Florida but I have loved ones that do and I’m trying to get anyone and everyone to listen while I type this from Texas. Please don’t think I’m being idiotic either. Your life and your family’s life matters!! We are praying for y’all and hoping y’all make it ❤

@@MechellLordFL Doubt it. This was a storm of tidal rising. a few feet of water. structures for the most part are fine. I see people moping floors, cleaning up, dealing with some electrical and appliance issues and ready to open up already .
