Hi Franky, you are very right. Air India is harassing too much. It happened to you while returning to Goa, but the same happened to me while leaving Goa via Mopa airport. I had a small bag with a small laptop approximately 2 kg. The lady checkin manager forced me to bin my excess items. Later I checked the carry-on baggage rules on the Air India website. It clearly states that an additional small item about 3 kg is allowed. More than the airline Air India staff is more rude and arrogant. All the best to you Franky

After building bridges/ broad roads at porvorim via mapusa Airport should have been shifted Dabolim first to go there was lot of traffic on way now when some planes shifted to Mopa these side traffic jam is noticed first complete mopa side broad roads & then shift from Dabolim these much brains we goans don't have specially traffic police to bring to the notice of Govt.

They use diff mode to extract money from passenger they permit 40 kgs when u go to board they charge u for extra baggage of.rs 1500/- saying only one piece permitted. Again u cannot carry more than 30 kgs in one bag. They only take advantage of your helpless condition

All what you have just said ie very true. To start Air India is not a very present airline. Travelling Business Class me and my wife have experienced few problems. It’s only because of convenience to our destination we travel that airline. Jet Airways was always our preferred flight. Before that other western airlines. As for the Mopa airport it certainly isn’t ideal for Goans of the south. Our MLAs/Ministers have made a mess of Goa only to benefit their own greed.

Air India by itself is an additional insult to Indian aviation..it's truly the worst airlines after being the tickets are so much so high as far as middle east ticket fare is concerned. They dnt even serve a cup of tea free. They charge 300 Indian rupees. Forget about a sandwich aur a meal. If any passengers from countries other than India flies once, then he will never fly again. It's a international insult
