There were actually four priests aboard the Titanic. The one you didn’t mention was Father William Heikinpoika Lahtinen and he too selflessly chose to minister to passengers on the ship. Another priest I’d like to mention too is Father Roger Brooke Taney Anderson. He’s pretty underrated since he wasn’t on the Titanic, but he was a passenger aboard the Carpathia when the Titanic sank and when the Carpathia had rescued the Titanic’s survivors, he selflessly gave up his own cabin and personal belongings for them and being the lone priest aboard the Carpathia, he led the funeral services for all of those who lost their lives in the disaster. He also later went on to be a hero as a soldier during WWI.

The pope has declared a year of jubilee (which is a year of forgiveness) and he invites everyone to walk through the doors to be forgiven (from sin to salvation) however this is very ritualistic and for Christians can been seen as demonic because the only jubilee is Jesus he is THE "jubilee" and forgiveness and salvation can only be sought through Jesus and not some ritual invented by man. Also to call him holy father is blasphemous in it self because the only holy father is God. I am not Christian but i have learned alot over the year and over this topic of opening portals. Some also say that the opening of the doors will release demons or something demonic. Hope this helps

The Holly Doors in the Cathedrals and Basilicata is one of the doors that is always close.
