This car is no where near a” handful in the bends”. Only the English could describe the Marx 10 /420 G that way. Here in America the Mark 10 /420G is considered to handle incredibly well and sure footed in the bends.. perhaps because Americans like me have driven much larger cars and the Mark 10/420G was a revelation in handling for a mid size car which its category in the USA. Spend any time driving any American full size car and this chap wouldn’t be so harsh on the handling of his Jag.

Wir trafen ihn 2024 zufällig beim Einkaufen - was für ein Typ💪 Wir schenkten ihm 4 Einweg-Rasierer und prompte wollte er sich mit einer Dose Tomaten revanchieren Es war ein Erlebnis ' anderer Art' ihm zu begegnen Beste Wünsche für ihn👍🏻

Bravo! Love this review...Fiat dominated rally back then.Car is super rare.Many wanna be conversions out there,but seeing the real thing is always a treat.And having that owner of it,makes all the better!

My dad bought a 1969 420G in 1974. It was in British Racing Green and made a huge impact upon me as an 8yr old kid. I have longed for one since and have been lucky enough to own many XJ's, two XJS's and newer S Types. This story is brilliant and its great to see such a beautiful car saved and enjoyed.

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!

How absolutely wonderful to see a clip of me in the Marcos in mtahleb! the coast road event was an absolutely wonderful affair with so many memories. For me sadly it involved a hydraulic leak and no brakes in the second run which didn’t stop me cutting another six seconds off my time. Thank you Charlie Dingli for the footage!
