I have a pair probably similar to that that are light purple that are actually peeling, what is your suggestion? I can see the white underneath ans think it would probably be better to remove all the purple

another pointless video. I think people know how to remove laces, and use a small paint brush. how about some real information like the products used? drying time? how long the paint lasts, is it waterproof etc etc etc.......

Most of it is in the earlier replies in the comment section, even the black paint brand

Friendly feedback: The video shows a lot of things that we don’t want to see and are totally unnecessary like removing shoe laces, washing shoes laces, removing tape, cleaning the shoes slowly etc. The things that we wanted to see and were not in the video, at all. 1 type of leather. I was looking for a video to show me specifically this patent leather. 2. What cleaning product you used. 3. What number of sand paper did you need? 4. The most important what paint did you use? 5. How long did it take to dry 6 is it waterproof? Etc

For how long does the black layer stay? I have the exact dr martens that I haven't worn for years (because of the color, I don't like it) and I want to re dye them black but I'm afraid the paint won't last since the boots are coated with lacquer :(

I’ve made a mistake and applied the wonder balsam on the shoes while there was sand on the the shoes so now I have like a paste of wonder balsam with sand on the shoes, how can I clean and wash away the wonder balsam and the sand from the shoes without damaging? Thanks

What shoes do you have? I use acetone to degrease the shoe, but that's very aggressive. Try soap and a soft brush. GOOD LUCK!
