Love joe elliott.. what a front man and so much musical knowledge.. def Leppard man. What more can be said. This band made me get up every day and live life thru my teenage years and beyond. What a legacy

She says about how much work had gone into preparing and rehearsing for the FM tribute concert but I think everyone involved just loved Freddie that much they were so happy to do it for him and to honour their late friend in this way. RIP Freddie Mercury - such a sweet, kind soul.

VERY cool story! Of course no one can "replace" Freddie, but in this case it wasn't a replacement thing, it was an honorary show of respect for the man.

I doubt any of those people are rock fans, they would only praise Freddie but not the rest of the band. Those people only like Queen because Freddie Mercury was gay, and not for their music
