Motivation is not so important as it's just a trigger to me. It's the commitment and how faithfully one lives such committed life that makes the difference whether one can get closer to the goal. JLPT is just a tool and only a milestone in life. It will not guarantee one's success neither in business nor personal life. Life is a one-time journey. Nothing should discourage you from reaching almost any goals when you're fully committed and moving in full steam towards them! Have a great holiday, galeglider!

Hey! Even though we have different points of view, thanks very much for always watching my videos! 😄
Im also learning japanese but i mostly take input but my output is very rare or nearly impossible cause i dont live in japan. Any tips on how i can output even if i dont live in Japan? Also i really liked the video keep it up ❤
@galeglider20 күн бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your comment. I'm very encouraged. Yeah, output is tricky. I live in Japan but I resorted to making videos just to have output lol. Or we go out of our way to have a language exchange partner. These days, you can do that online. You can google "language exchange" and find a language exchange partner. Or not even a partner but assorted native speakers who are willing to communicate with you in their language. Sorry I forgot the name of the app I used before but I think they are searchable. Output can be writing, so you and your partner can exchange text messages or letters. (I know a Japanese who I exchanged letters with and he corrects my letters. Maybe you can find one online) This KZbinr, Ruri Ohama, learned English by talking to herself. No kidding. The idea is you create a separate brain for your target language. Thinking in your target language is also another form of output I believe. You can check out Ruri Ohama as she has lots of suggestions for learning a language by yourself (She learned English and German). She has also various suggestions for apps that helped her. I really encourage you to find a means of Output. I hope this helps you even just a little bit. And good luck! :)

First of all, its a product of its time, we cannot judge all literature through a modern lens or we will fail to understand what the author was attempting to convey. Secondly, your very premise is wrong, one of if not the most powerful individual in the books is Galadriel, a women. In addition, of course the adventures are men, for most of human history men have been the ones fighting wars while women stay home. This is not to say that this should be the way things are today, i fully support women in all roles including the military, but Tolkien lives in a very different time. We should not devalue the literary genius of earlier authors simply because they do not have the same views as us because of the time they lived in. Tolkien was (for his time) a progressive who hated the Nazis and racial bigotry.

I'm thinking the reason for all the points you said existing in the LotR is because it was written in the age it was written in and it reflects the attitudes of the time. It's fine. Just don't deconstruct it too much.
