Thank you for that. We are going to sail skärgarden and Mälaren this August 2021 with an H-boat (sloop). Very helpful! Are there any regulations on lake Mälaren? Can you recommend harbours? It is a small boat (28 feet, 1,3 m depth) Joachim from bavaria

Hi Jochen. No special regulations on lake Mälaren, other than the usual ones that are also valid in the Baltic Sea side of Hammarby slussen. Get a current local chart (or electronic chart) and you will be ok. Air draft/clearances are shown in those. Maybe also check current P- and T-notices: www-o.sjofartsverket.se/en/Maritime-services/Hydrographic-Information/NtM---Notices-to-mariners/Search-the-database11/. As you may have noticed I have a rather small boat so unfortunately I cant give you any pointer to good guest harbours or marinas. I only do day trips and some fishing.

Hi Mattias, Sorry for answering so late. We had a nice holiday in the skärgard and lots of sightseeing in Stockholm and Norrtälje. We had no time for Mälaren but we´ll try in 2022. Thank you for your advice.

Mattias H, Grymma båtar i sin klass, har en 520 Dc som "lillbåt" har kört den i 13 sekundmeter och det gick alldeles utmärkt ! 😋
