I went to Nieman Marcus after watching all the hype around Amouage Guidance. I hated it, but came back with Portrayal, Honor 43, Lilac Love, and sample of Epic 56. The tobacco flower and Elemi in Portrayal give this perfume a gummy depth that stays through the dry down. The jasmine is reminiscent of the final hours of the open flower just before it wilts which is a deeper, less heady version of the smell. So even the jasmine smells different than other jasmine perfumes like Amouage Honor 43 that I think captures a fresher jasmine note. Both are very beautiful. Amazingly, the white floral lineup from Amouage - Portrayal, Honor, and Love Tuberose are all quite different becuse of the various woods and resins that take the scents in different directions. I just went and reminded myself again from the Guidance sample and my decision to skip it was correct. I’m sure some will disagree and that’s ok.

My fav is African leather and I don’t usually like the leather accord! Loooove the leather range of this house

I don't get it why people love to smell like whisky. That's what the Angel's smells like to me, and I don't get the hype personally. I am addicted to Moonlight in Heaven, though! Wasn't planning to buy anything but couldn't resist it when I first tried it at Sephora. Also, there is no such thing as feminine or masculine when it comes to fragrance, it is just a very personal choice.

Comparing the Cellars to the Liquors? ABOTR is supposed to be lighter. Otherwise, they would have just rereleased the original Apple Brandy which falls more in line with dark sweet scents like the Cellars line offers. I totally agree with you in the fact that Angel’s Share is hands down a better scent.

I have only tested an inspiration for Rolling in Love and I love its comforting quality!

I definitely don't think it's comparable to the Tom Ford options. The leather in here swallows the cherry very quickly.

I blind bought ATH Raw Cherry after so many folks recommending it and sadly did not care for it (that's what I get for blind buying!). Anyway - great job describing CP and how it compares to LC. Just the video I was looking for! :-) Thank you! I receive my sample of Cherry Punk tomorrow and am excited to see what I think. I absolutely love Lost Cherry but if I like CP better - that will be fantastic for the wallet. lol
