I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone Every night & every day gonna love the hurtin’ away I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone Every night & every day gonna love the hurtin’ away Tonight, tonight I’m falling where the peaceful waters flow Where the unicorns the last one at the water hole I have found a love so precious, like an emerald so bold It’s a firelight escaping from the jewellers hold I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone Every night & every day gonna love the hurtin’ away I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone Every night and every day gonna love the hurtin’ away On & in the heat of rapture what I feel the cold winds blow Through the broken glass, I’ll see at last the sweet desire in you I will climb up on my pulpit & I’ll preach a sermon, you On the mountain roads, in Harlem, feel my jewellers hold I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone Every night and every day gonna love the hurtin’ away I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone I’m romancing the stone, never leaving your poor heart alone Every night & every day gonna love the hurtin’ away

I just met Sam at Chicago Flashback Weekend, and he laughed when I told him I had seen this. He still recited his milkman dialogue perfectly.

I can see why Ash recruits Henry was deleted, but if better worked on it could have helped the movie a lot.

When I was a kid in the 80s I'm pretty sure I saw weird figures of the past in a book with a drawing of a male figurine with what looked like a chainsaw, I'm not sure if it was Lovercraft's necronomicon. It was not related to the movie, I wonder if the writer made use of that to look like it really happened.

The original theatrical cut of the Texas chain saw massacre has the same blue tint for the night scenes as does taxi driver. I wonder if this was just how transfers were done at the time like how some 4ks & early blu-rays are done with a blue filter. I know Batman returns 4K has it as does the blu-rays for the lord of the rings and the original 12 monkeys bd. I personally like it for some of the scenes but overall it’s the Audio that I find is the most interesting aspect. It is completely different fro the version we have now. Some music cues are drastically shorter and a lot of the ambiance is shorter leaving more quiet moments making for the third act shift with ash alone makes more sense than it being mostly constant sound in the film till than, which is what we have now. Overall it’s the same film and since neither honestly looks like the original film material all we can hope for is some boutique company gets the rights to do a proper archival restoration of the original book of the dead 1981 release

all the deleted scenes of Army of Darkness except the original ending where Ash swallows 7 drops instead of 6 and wakes up an a post apocalyptic London and I think the obvious reason why is because the original ending sucks.

It's strange that Within the Woods keeps be removed for a copyright claim. I've seen it, but who the hell legally cares about an The Evil Dead prototype film made in 1978, when the director and stars were 19-20 years old? Who the hell cares?

I love that Sam Raimi had come up with all these gags in the 70's. When that trashcan started moving I was laughing and hoping she would throw the book "Farewell to Arms" on it. That joke wouldn't make sense in this context but shows Sam kept building on this idea all the way until he filmed it in 1987.

I wish they would release a blu ray of the first 3 evil dead movies with all of the deleted scenes and call them the extended cut. I would love to watch the originals films with more longer scenes.
