The relationship between the 12 signs of the zodiac and the 12 disciples of Jesus has fascinated many scholars and mystics. While there’s no definitive religious link between each disciple and a zodiac sign, some interpretations pair them based on symbolic similarities, character traits, and the roles they play in the Gospels. Here is a general exploration: 1. Aries - Peter Aries, ruled by Mars, is fiery, courageous, and often impulsive. Peter, known as the "rock" upon which Jesus built His church, displayed bravery but also acted impulsively, like when he denied Jesus three times. Aries' pioneering spirit aligns with Peter as the first disciple to recognize Jesus as the Messiah. 2. Taurus - Andrew Taurus is known for loyalty, stability, and a grounded nature, qualities that also characterize Andrew. As Peter's brother, Andrew was one of the first disciples to follow Jesus, demonstrating a quiet yet steady faithfulness, mirroring Taurus' steadfast nature. 3. Gemini - James the Greater Gemini is associated with communication, curiosity, and duality. James the Greater, known for his passionate personality, was among the more vocal and inquisitive disciples. He also had a "fiery" side, asking Jesus to bring fire down on a Samaritan village, which shows Gemini's strong-willed dual nature. 4. Cancer - John Cancer is nurturing, emotional, and deeply empathetic, often called the "mother" of the zodiac. John, the disciple "whom Jesus loved," reflected these traits through his compassionate and close relationship with Jesus. John's Gospel is also seen as deeply spiritual and introspective, fitting Cancer’s sensitive and soulful nature. 5. Leo - Thomas Leos are proud, courageous, and often seek the truth boldly, much like Thomas, who is famously known for doubting Jesus' resurrection until he saw physical proof. His skepticism and subsequent conviction reflect Leo's journey of seeking and embracing truth and glory. 6. Virgo - Philip Virgo is practical, analytical, and often deeply concerned with serving others. Philip was thoughtful, practical, and dedicated to helping people understand Jesus' message. His pragmatic approach and his desire to bring others to Jesus align with Virgo's service-oriented nature. 7. Libra - Nathanael (Bartholomew) Libra values harmony, balance, and justice. Nathanael (often identified as Bartholomew) was noted for his straightforward and sincere character, described by Jesus as "an Israelite in whom there is no deceit." Libra’s pursuit of truth and balance matches Nathanael's honest and discerning nature. 8. Scorpio - James the Less Scorpio, intense and transformative, often keeps to itself and is drawn to spiritual mysteries. James the Less is often considered a quieter, less visible disciple, yet his depth and quiet dedication reflect Scorpio’s mysterious and introspective nature. 9. Sagittarius - Jude (Thaddeus) Sagittarius is associated with optimism, adventure, and a quest for truth. Jude, known for spreading Jesus' teachings far and wide, embodies Sagittarius' expansive and philosophical traits. His mission work exemplifies Sagittarius’ adventurous spirit and dedication to spreading wisdom. 10. Capricorn - Matthew Capricorn is disciplined, responsible, and values tradition. Matthew, a former tax collector who renounced wealth to follow Jesus, embodies Capricorn’s commitment to spiritual growth and transformation. His Gospel is detailed and orderly, much like Capricorn’s methodical approach. 11. Aquarius - Simon the Zealot Aquarius is known for its rebellious, progressive, and humanitarian spirit. Simon, called "the Zealot," had a passion for political freedom and liberation, fitting Aquarius’ revolutionary nature. His zeal and devotion to change align with Aquarius' focus on reform and justice. 12. Pisces - Judas Iscariot Pisces is compassionate and often represents sacrifice but can also struggle with illusions and escapism. Judas, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, is a complex figure, reflecting Pisces' potential for both profound compassion and deep conflict, especially in matters of spiritual and material values. This pairing is interpretative, relying on symbolic alignment rather than historical or biblical evidence. Each disciple, like each zodiac sign, brings a unique trait and personality to the overarching story.

This video fails to consider the real opposition to reason which was offered by Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778). Beyond reason and observation, from deep within our hearts comes intuition and conscience. These precious aspects of consciousness are delivered from a divine source within all living beings often referred to as instincts in animals. Here are three quotes from Einstein regarding intuition: “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” “The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don’t know how or why.” “The state of mind which enables a man to do work of this kind [theoretical physics], is akin to that of the religious worshipper or the lover; the daily effort comes from no deliberate intention or program, but straight from the heart.” The most celebrated architect of the twentieth century, Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959), offered his support as well: “The heart is the chief feature of a functioning mind.” Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) wrote, “Intuition is the source of scientific knowledge.” With a masters of science from MIT, I have come to respect my intuition as far superior to my intellect, which is really quite feeble. In fact, the intellect requires assumptions or facts to work from while intuition provides the correct answer miraculously without conscious reasoning. Kant was stuck in his tiny intellect, a sad state of affairs. Rousseau had his priorities properly arranged with divine intuition and conscience placed well above the intellect. Having written two books on intuition, my research has found that many people lose their intuition during their teenage years while others lose it later. In the end around 20% retain their intuitive gift throughout their entire life. Kant must have lost his quite early in his life leaving him to work with his feeble intellect.

Is," "is," "is"-the idiocy of the word haunts me. If it were abolished, human thought might begin to make sense. I don't know what anything "is"; I only know how it seems to me at this moment. In conclusion, there is no conclusion. Things will go on as they always have, getting weirder all the time. Robert Anton Wilson
