I have that same knife in that color as well. I love the locking system and how much fun it is to flip. I like the placement of the pocket clip on this one vs the WE knife version. Very nice job telling us about it! 👍👊

I agree! I have not experienced the WE version, but I am guessing I would agree. Thank you for watching as always!!

I saw another review on this where the guy says a rattle when the blade is not deployed bothered him. He fixed it on his video. Do you have the same rattle?
@EDCEmpire
@EDCEmpire 13 күн бұрын
The only rattle I notice is the switch, which is a side effect of the Tri-Slide. Personally, though, I did not even notice it until you mentioned anything. Even in athletic shorts, I do not notice anything; in comparison, I can hear my Reate Exo-M under the same circumstances. Thank you for your question!

Of course, thank you for checking out the video! I am really enjoying The Benny, those two main complaints have not stopped me from carrying it, they were just small things I noticed. I hope to check out another JWK soon!

Nice review. I have the black aluminum with the walnut inlays and tanto blade. I love mine and can flick it open without issue. I have seen people put a zip tie through the hole and use it as a thumb stud for easy flipping.

I won’t lie though, the price point for the ChickPea seems high even with the sheath. But for me I love it. Thank you

I picked up a primative wicket at Blade show Atlanta. I am digging it. I use it for around the house and common camp tasks.

@@EDCEmpire Jury is still out. I will post something on the gram after a month or so. I don't want to be to quick to judge. But as of right now, I love it. sharp as crap. Cut myself with it already.

Update: I was able to complete the mod to increase the tension of the detent bar. It is essentially like changing how strong/weak your liner or frame lock is; take the knife apart, bend the bar which actually acts as the detent (because there are two bars, one of which does nothing), then put the knife back together. While it is better, I still think that the fact I needed to do this is unacceptable. If you do choose to purchase this knife and have a similar issue, I cannot speak to whether or not this will affect your warranty. Finally, something that I forgot to mention in the video is that we traveled back to the Bradford facility after realizing this and the workers confirmed that this was "normal."
