The wings need a kronwall again. The defense just swings sticks and doesn't put the fear of God into anyone. It is so hard to watch this lackluster team this year. Fire all the coaches Stevie. Retool the D so the offense can control the puck once again and start scoring. Humble opinion.

Be for he was picup by the Saber he went on vacation in the off season with a number of the Sabers. I could see a number of the other Sabers Dman being traded first.

It probably will be. But the truth is, coaches don't spend 1 minute on the ice. The defense is playing horribly. Too many players are trying to make highlight reels versus sound defensive plays. It could be said that the puck just isn't bouncing right ( a lot of garbage goals are being scored) for them. But it is much more than just that. When you can't clear a zone for over 3 or 4 minutes, it is no wonder the goalies look like sieves. But something MUST be done, and quick. Dropping 3 in a row to lower tier teams really feels like you got kicked in the nuts.

Bedards biggest issue is that he doesn’t play in the gritty parts of the ice. He isn’t winning the board battles, he isn’t winning the corner scrums. He relies on his skill, but skill can only take you so far if you can’t get the puck.

There's a reason why teams are making such offers for Xhekaj. Players like this don't grow on trees, sure he isn't a Norris contender but his physical presence is essential for a team like Montreal, it's what other teams are seeking. This player is the kind of guy you want in the playoffs for a deep run.
