Loved John as Barnaby and never tire of watching all the reruns with him in them.Glad to see he has retired and doing well.This was 4 yrs ago so I hope all is still well with him-his wife and life.

John Nettles ha una bellissima voce. Il doppiatore in italiano ha una voce gradevole ma più "anziana" rispetto all'originale. È un bravo attore e mi pare sia anche una brava persona.

I stopped watching when the original Barneby left and partner. The new Barneby(the cousin) just did not cut it. I know I am not the only one, John gave us 14 wonderful years. Enjoy Hector John..

Danke fürs Hochladen. Paul Dahlke zeigt leider deutlich, wo seine darstellerischen Grenzen lagen, und die Musik ist lachhaft. Aber die guten Nebendarsteller - darunter Erik Schumann und Hans Epskamp (einer der besten Edgar-Wallace-Bösewichte) - reißen vieles wieder raus.

What a lovely, happy, and healthy man! his sincerity and kindness show simply and beautifully… it also shows how one be a top actor, enjoy stardom, and yet stay so sincere and so grounded in the little things that make life worth living… there’s something so graceful and honest about John in the way he has moved on after retiring from acting… best wishes for a very fulfilling life ahead…
