This is what I feel when I dream. Incoherent places, finding tranquility in strange situations... I sat on the floor inside an old abandoned house in the woods. There was strange banging outside, but I didn't mind. The rain was calming. Soft, rhythmic taps all around me as the rain hit the roof. Then suddenly, I heard banging outside my room. It was obvious that it wanted to come inside, so I approached the door. I stood, then laid down on the floor, using my body weight to block the door. I went into the fetal position to warm myself up. The room was cold and moist, the rain was rhythmic and calming, and the banging seemed to make me feel even calmer. I laid down facing away the door. I was directly looking at the window. I saw the moon on such a stormy night. It spread its light into the earth, illuminating the surrounding forest, making the raindrops clear. I then closed my eyes, asleep within the dream. Yume Nikki captured the same strange comfort I felt in my dreams.
