What was Slovenefest like in 2024? I find it odd that I cannot find any online comments about it this year. I didn’t go this year as the number of bands continues to decline and the ballroom was open for only day and only with a single act.

Thanks Anthony, it's nice to hear Georgie Cook on something. I thought he might have recorded that song with Staiduhar. Georgie always treated me well.

Can someone please contact the Novak family and let us know of the arrangements. We learned from Facebook that Joe passed away recently. Our hearts are broken. 😥🙏

Hey Anthony, Thanks for sharing, brings back old memories of how they played back then! By the way how are you related to the Culkar line, My Uncle was Joseph Culkar, President of the SNPJ for years during the 50's through the 70's or so. My Grandmother was his Aunt.

I was brought here because "Curb Your Enthusiasm" mentioned kishka. The Wikipedia description of kishka sounds more like garbage than food but I guess to each their own special national, regional or local food.
