Ruined by MUSIC!

I own a 2012 Ml350 Bluetec Pckg 1, that goes by, Mr. B, since day one and now in December 27 of 2024 reads 199,545 miles. Problems? Plenty of from EGR, Adblue sensor, leaking injectors (so called: Black Death Mercedes), cracked air intake hoses, NO Data on a few months old car. The main screen, that dealer in Las Vegas had no clue what to do to fix it, had to replace the whole unit per Germany 🇩🇪 instructions. The right blind spot detected, since brand new, inexistent objects and dealer was never able to address it properly, the low level colant when in higher altitude and dealer had no explanation after multiple complains and pressure test was with no problems. Things that I replaced myself: AC compressor, alternator, front shocks, arms, front stabilizers. Yet I am still enjoying the ride and the electric steering is the BEST. Over 650 miles on a full tank of diesel (most of it on highway, with roof box, 5 people in the car and a German Shepard in the trunk).

I would not recommend the touch screen. Worse Laptop ever bought. Keeps having ‘ghost touch’ issues. Deleted my docs, kept crashing in just one year’s usage. One year’s warranty and the laptop started to play up as soon as a year was over. I would not recommend HP touch screen at all. Bad product.

I've had 2016 2.2 diesel for around 3 years. In my opinion, this is one ot the best cars for the money for those who prioritise driving dynamics. It's comfortable, but doesn't feel as "insulated" from the road compared to a Mondeo or Insignia. Some people may not like this, whilst this will be a plus point for others who like to feel what the car is doing on the road. Personally, I absolutely love the car, and the 2.2d engine is smooth and very responsive. Yes, there are some weaknesses with the pre 2019 diesels (camshaft wear and leaking injectors, which can lead to total engine failure if left unattended, as solidified diesel accumulates in the oil pickup, eventually blocking oil flow. I swapped the original copper injector washers with upgraded Mazda steel washers as a preventative measure, snd change the oil every 3k - 4k miles. Absolutely no issues with the car in 3 years

Have owned two W166 models. They have both been very good vehicles. I use my iPhone for navigation, just set it in front of the screen. Lube the sun roof regularly to avoid problems.
