It was this time (my 8th birthday, on Dec 7, ) when we as kids saw form our neighborhood (we go up to our rooftops) the jet fighters in the skline of Manila doing dogfights. It was a spectackle to watch because not everday you see war planes not just flying but literally attaking eachother. As a kid back then I was not aware of what was really happening we just enjoyed what we saw.

I didn't know what he meant until he said we have an alert. Since I was on Oahu, I knew something bad had happened, and it was going to involve us.

We were living in Murphy, Cubao which is just around 600 meters away from Camp Aguinaldo. I could still remember the flying "Tora Tora" planes and their terrifying sound.
