Before or after ww2 my grandfather was a forester and planter in the forest of dean then he moved to Canada to continue in forestry. I cant wait to visit it for myaelf and see its beauty

I've not been there since I was in the army back in 1981 when we climbed up as part of our training. I hope to go back one more time although just carrying a packed lunch instead of a bergen.
