@@MomijiSour Yep, the game doesn't actually give you characters with a flat base stat. Instead what it does is it applies the "level up" stat formula for every level of theirs. When you level up in this game you get random stat points from 0-2. So if you get Vegeta at level 25, the game levels him from 1-25 before you get him, and sometimes he will roll a lot of +1's or +0's on his stats, making him weak.

Haven’t thought about this game in years but it started to play randomly. Man you’re good at this was my initial reaction then I look at the time and I’m like holy crap you’re really good. An hour and some change man get outta here!!!! I would’ve been hunting down that sandwich for Hercule still. Good stuff man

No this is a Menu Glitch. A lot of Castlevanias with shops have similar glitches. It usually comes to how they program and layout the menus with specifics to each game that has it. There are other games with ACE such as basically every Pokemon game released by the end of gen 3 barring Colosseum, XD, and Stadium 2. SMB3 and SMW have ACE and there's a working theory on being able to do it in sunshine.

Yeah no problem, I could see how that's confusing. I actually used to think Menu Glitch was a Dark Cloud Exclusive until I saw it in a glitch showcase for Castlevania Aria of Sorrow (which is actually way less useful in that game as most of the glitches used are from pickups and movement tech)

I have nothing against dungeon rpgs but problem with this game are grinding, slow xp, same enemies(reskins), skipped arcs. Good battle system but It would be neat if the game had a hub world

Hey man, I started speedrunning this game today (first speedrun ever :D ) I am learning the game for now and almost can get a good pase. And I made up a new tactic that I am actually 100% sure of it being faster. I even tested it already. It is an actuall level tact that I discovered when I played this game when I was younger. I hope I can uploade a strong run soon! Or maybe even a WR. I am coming for you! :D

@@Glitchedd Thank you!, Man, while playing myself I now understand how crazy your vegita is. I am doing 58 dmg on ondroid 19. But even with that dmg you can kill him just in time befroe super sayen turns off.

@@GentlemanJasper Yep, you just want to have some ki remaining so you can go SSJ for again foe android 20 and make that fight fast too. If you have low str you run out of SSJ before a fights over and just do less damage in general so you lose a lot of time

1:20:41 When I was a small child, I remember power leveling all my characters through that level 40 door. You can hit the dinosaurs through it and get massive exp very early on!

Sorry to double comment. Good news is, I was able to get everything up and running but the bad news is, my game is requiring the actual disk; in order for me to play the game. When I auto mounted my disk drive, it sent me through the installation wizard again. Do you think there's a way around the disk requirement or am I not understanding, how to do it exactly? Either way, your video was very informative and straight the point. I didn't even think of setting the VM up in Japanese, thankfully your video came up on Google.

Glad it helped up to this point at least! I'm not entirely sure as I've not run a game that requires mounting just yet. When you mounted your drive, was it detected within the VM or only your main system? You could possibly try turning the game into a .ISO file and mounting it to the VM with an ISO mounting program made for XP

Bless you times a million. Out of the twenty Y2K games I've bought, only one is refusing to start up. So I decided to get the VM program and didn't know what I was doing. Thanks to your video and another person's video, I'm currently waiting on my ISO file to finish downloading. I'll then be on my way to playing my sugar bean's game! :)
