What I can’t understand why the authorities allow this to happen in broad daylight. Look at the bus shelter at around 2:00. There’s regular people waiting for the bus with 304’s plying their trade next to them. We had an issue in my part of Sydney with open air prostitution. It was unsightly and unsafe for the customers and to the girls with disease and assaults. The government legalised prostitution, with standards like can’t be close to schools or church’s, and health regulations and cleanliness standards to be met. The workers and the shop even pay taxes. The workers are even covered by industrial relations, they are entitled to the same benefits as any other employee. It also takes the pimps out of the game. No more trafficking. They even check for visas and if girls are voluntarily working there, as well as make sure they are old enough. It’s win win. Even if you’re anti prostitution, you gotta admit it’s better to be legalised, than to have your streets look like this.
