Crazy to think this came out in the ‘60s, sounds way ahead of its time.

There needs to be a mainstream radio station that plays new hip-hop by artists from OUR generation! They can still do the dang thang!

One of my all time, very favourite songs from the 60's era (or any other time) -- a time of peace, love, but also of great turmoil, turbulence, conflict, struggle, protest, "re birth"/& ultimately change...& harmony; it is soulful, ernest, earthy, energetic, immediate, impassioned, emblematic, iconic...& to me it also evokes a little of the motown/R&B/soul feeling as well

I love this performance, but for all those praising Paul Weller, remember this is not his song. It's written by Billy Preston.

the real genius' are not the rap producers that simply sample and loop but the ARTISTS THAT MADE THIS MUSIC FROM SCRATCH

I live in London and can guarantee if you get mugged down in a tube station at midnight these days the attackers will be from an entirely different demographic than the one described in this song.

I met an Annie on the 6th November 1989, i absolutely fell in love at first sight l,she came into the room and i was struck down. We courted, married, had a child, she left me. 😢 25 years later we got together again. 😊 she had 3 kids with another chap and i love them. She annoys me, she loves me, shes my Annie. ❤

This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie! It is the backstory that sets up the ending and more importantly, gives depth to characters in what on the surface looks like the standard road/shoot 'em up movie.
