Yes they got to be together in the series finale. Their curse was destroyed and they left horseshoe bay together into an unknown future.

I caught that too. Awesome finale, even tho I wish the writers had given them more scenes at the end and a love scene.

He backed out from trying because she almost died after they tried the first time. He didn't want to risk her life again.

SHE didn't want to risk HIS life after she held his dead body, but because his life didn't matter to him he pushed her to try and got her invested when she tried so hard to prevent it, but when the tables were turned she again had to do what he wanted, but this time it hurt her even more because he made her believe it was possible, he got her invested and then said no.

I totally agree, I was complaining about that every episode during season 4! If only they had broken the curse sooner than we would have had more time seeing them as a proper couple! But of course the writers didn't want to give us that until the last episode! Very aggravating! Also those stupid side romances for both of them were not needed or wanted!

I literally have been shipping nace since s1. When she was in love with nick and owen. From ace's accident ep, alternative universe ep, poison ep, library and the fact he was the only one who knew about Lucy Ryan situation, during her grife of owen. They stretched this chemistry so long , it just bounced off and snapped. Park and luara would have been much better. Out of all the guys Nancy's been with I liked owen and park the best, but Owen's death. I really don't like the substitutes. A ghost and sin eater! They not only broke them off romantically but they broke their friendship

@@kuki4887 agreed. I loved her with Owen if she wasn’t going to be with Ace but then they went and killed him off in season 1 which made so upset about his death. Now that are just ruining it and I don’t know how they are going to fix it in just one episode

I hope this is some other universe or dream or them under Influence or so far what's happened was in order to break the curse. And I need at least 15 min of them being together.

Probably not the writers fault, but the higher ups

The writers had 4x01 through 4x10 written and finalized when the CW informed them they would only receive half a season and would have to end the series. They had fully intended on having a 20+ episode season 4 with a season 5 as well. So no they're not horrible writers they were dealt a bad situation and did the best they could.
