This confuses me greatly. (I have not seen the show at the West End). There are only four other women besides Bonnie and Blanche. Yet there are the two mothers, the governor, and the three at the hair salon. I can't picture the mothers playing any other roles or being in the ensemble numbers. That leave only two women!

The 3 female ensemble were in the salon scene (with Julie who played Bonnies mother in that scene) then Pippa who played clydes mother and the governor - on alternate shows they had a swing who would take the role of Trish I hope that makes sense 🤣 at the arts they had one less female ensemble too so Pippa was in the salon scene!

Still can't believe I got to see this show. I live if the US and my school's drama department went a trip to Scotland last August. The organization we were doing it through gave us 2 days in London, and they also would get us tickes to a show of our choice. Our drama teacher insisted on seeing something that we couldn't see in the US so we chose &Juliet. We didn't know what to expect going into it, but all of us LOVED it and we screamed and cheered as loud as we could at the end of every song. We didn't have you as Romeo since you had already left, but the new Romeo was just as amazing.
