Carlos refers to the “shadow fleet”. A complete misnomer. It merely means the fleet is not insured by Lloyds. Sanctions against the shadow fleet has not worked and will not work. He has not explained how it has worked or how it will work. Complete and utter drivel. For Robert to believe the mainstream legacy media that Iran tried to assassinate Trump based on some hoot of evidence is incredulous and shows the lack of credibility he has. I suppose this lot has not read the actual source-called evidence which I have. This interview seems to be a pump party for product tanker companies. I do not want to know the good things which you think will happen but the risks and downside.

There are many Greek Shipping companies that trade on the world's markets. Some care about their shareholders but quite a few pay no dividends and do no or few buybacks. Daneas DAC &. Global Ship Lease GSL do both but what about C3IS ( CISS), Performance Shipping PSHG, Imperial Shipping IMPP, Pyx Tankers, GLBS, GASS- and so many more that seem selfish. This gives your country and companies a bad name. How can you ask us to invest?

I will advise you should stop trading on your own if you keep loosing. If you can, then get a professional to trade for you i think that way your assets are more secured.

Its hard to predict the markets as there are so many independent variables. Its especially hard to discern what Trump thinks or what he will do - I am not a fan. On the other hand when these stocks are so low DAC GSL and ESEA ( not sure about MPCC) its always a good idea to do buybacks and raise the value of the remaining shares.

As a CPA for more than 50 years, I thoroughly enjoy listening to Mr. Norton. I think his fiscal policies, and those of the board, are prudent and conservative, while the business operations are savvy and sound. Star is in an industry however where many hard-to-manage variables exist (eg macro economies and emissions regulations to name just two) but the shareholders are amply rewarded for their faith in the talents of the Star management. In addition, Mr. Norton's candor in discussing attracting larger investors, shows a depth of knowledge of Wall Street realities while showing stock-pickers like me a potential for an enormous reward down the road should my stock price change from a fraction of book value to a multiple thereof.

@@960john Fair concern, but what was the size of the fleet 12 years ago? Current share price is just slightly higher than book value. That said, I am always concerned about share dilution and your point is well taken.
