You're reading the frametimes, the FPS is the bottom number.

U were looking at frametimes which is miliseconds. The ones below it are the ones that matter. The average and 1% lows are certainly what you want to be seeing.

Thank you so much for the kind words and support; it really means a lot! I eventually got burnt out making commentary videos over those 7 months. It started to affect my mental health, especially when I’d check the analytics and see that they didn’t make much difference in the performance of the videos or the channel overall. Right now, I’m super busy and don’t have the extra hours to edit commentary-style videos. bro, they are using a 7800X3D and not getting smooth 60fps. clearly the game also is heavy on the GPU, specially the VRAM. i've heard the game has baked-in ray tracing that is going to be an in-game option in the final game so maybe this can make things better

Well, im running on a 7940HS in a LAPTOP, with 48g of ram, and a lowly 4060gtx, have settings as follows: 2160x1600 DLSS balanced with frame gen on. ALL graphics settings EXCEPT for shadow quality "med" texture "high" and draw distance "med" are set to ULTRA settings to keep the VRAM under 8. My laptop also features dynamic refresh rate, so fluctuating frame rate doesnt matter unless it drops into the 30s, and im getting between 50 to 75fps with an average of around 62fps. So, you can eat that proof pudding, I will watch. Ive consistently seen HUNDREDS of videos where even GPUs significantly more powerful than mine having very little impact, but when the CPU is up to the task, suddenly there is a huge improvement. Try running this game with an i5, or a ryzen ancient edition and pair it with a 4090, you will get LOWER frame rates than I am with a ryzen 9 7940HS and a 4060, its fact. Eat it.

@@herpderp1662 my man, maybe i wasn't clear by the say i spoke. i'm not arguing the game isn't bottlenecked mostly by the CPU, it's just that even if you remove that bottleneck by using what was the best CPU for gaming until last week, the game is still heavy for a 3060 TI, which doesn't have access to 4000s frame generation and almost caps in VRAM. with a 7800X3D it's possible to get to native 60 fps without frame gen if the GPU allows for it. still, if the game wasn't so heavy on the CPU it should've got way than that so yea the main problem is the CPU, i agree with you on that
