I also did not enjoy Addie la Rue. I actually DNF'd it. Also, I got a book shipped from B&N with those extra pages. They sent me a replacement for free. :) I did the birthday book challenge but I also am very indecisive when it comes to picking up books at the store and I did, in fact, ended up only buying two books lol

I agreed with almost all of your hot takes. The one that I disagreed with is dog ear pages and breaking the spine. Like you I can’t stand creases on a page but I also like to keep my books in as like new condition as possible so I don’t usually break the spine. I also prefer hardcover to paperback but sometimes the paperback is cheaper.
