Regarding salary Can you please specify salary for different ranks, and yes you can specify average, do that it will be easier for the people to decide. 2. Regarding promotion, the promotion is slow and you are mentioning different departments: So can you please also specify what actually a chief Engineer does in his day to day routine that a cargo ship Chief Engineer cannot do because of which the promotion is very slow. Please specify a specific reason, 14 decks is not a reason for slow promotion. What is the time period for a 2nd Engineer to become 1st engineer then to be a Staff chief Engineer and then to be a Chief Engineer. If you provide this answers may be we the people from Cargo ship will have a better idea to make a decision to whether or not shift from Cargo to cruise. And this will also not hamper the image of Indian sailors as you mentioned in your previous videos.
