Awesome artifacts and video! That is interesting about the burned points. I figured they were broken beyond repair and discarded into the fire like a paper plate. Thanks for sharing.
@IndigenousRelicSearch10 күн бұрын
Thanks brother. That is guaranteed true as well. No body knows. There was a Cache of 220 Turkey Tails found in Kentucky and a lot of them were thrown in the fire as ceremony (they think!)

Good finds...I was out there filming my kids picking stuff up just the other day, and now they're all adults...it goes fast. That bifurcate, that you said looks like a Pedernales out of Texas, is a nice one. It is longer than most bifurcates that are that thin, and that pink material is awesome.

Man thats some pc i know better than you crap! If the sacred pipe is meant for all men, then any artifact is meant for whoever finds it. As long as you understand that it is sacred and should be treated with respect you can do just as good taking care of it then some I got a degree doodoo head!

Nice saves brother. I'm with you, we find artifacts after they've been washed out of the spot they were left. That means they have limited archeology importance. Good hunting.

Those kirks are really nice! I think I am going to need to look at that chert in person sometime to try to guess what it is; from the video there are a couple things it resembles/reminds me of, and I'll admit it may be none of them and I might not be able to identify it anyway. Now you know why I stay away from social media.

I spent my first 35 years in west Michigan, and as a fisherman I walked many miles of river. In all that time I never found one! (Let alone dozens littering the river bed like you show) Fake YT VIDEOS aren't cool dude. .....and you should stop using those needles.

Hello friend, here is your coyote friend. All your finds are very good, the knife, the killer bird spikes, those larger pieces are also magnificent. Those little hunters are going to be good. BLESSINGS ALWAYS.
@leatherwoodcraftsАй бұрын
Nice haul. The birdpoints are Rivertons (Merom/Trimble cluster), and I think you are right about the Baker's Creek, or else it is a Lowe, almost the exact same point. I think the last one is probably from the time period transitioning between Late Archaic and Early Woodland. It resembles a McWhinney and also looks like it could be a Saratoga (I'd have to see it in person). When I did archaeology we did a project in a plowed field in Bethlehem (Indiana side between Jeffersonville and Madison) and picked up something like a hundred McWhinneys and similar stemmed points in one day. Glad you and River Rat are finding stuff. I haven't been out much, it's been a rough couple months. We've lost two guys from that get together in December. Tom, the big guy in overalls that you talked to quite a bit that owned the farm across the river died suddenly in May, and then Larry, the guy who had cancer we all signed the card for, died at the end of June. I plan to get out later this week if conditions are even remotely decent.
@IndigenousRelicSearchАй бұрын
Man thats terrible hearing about those guys i remember signing that banner for one of them. I am trying to start a group here in this area i have dubbed it “Indian Kentuck Artifact Society” we are trying to get some organization and i plan to utilize the fire house so we can meet from time to time. Hope we can get it going you will definitely have to come down!! Hope to see you out soon

Nice stuff again! I believe it's just a garter snake with that prominent line down it's back. Sometimes they get that checkered pattern around here almost like the Texas checkered garter snakes do. Midland Brown snakes also get the checkered pattern, but they don't have the prominent line down their backs, and they barely ever get over a foot long.
