i tried doing the same.lets see what happens. as the phone turned on then i connected the battery .it was showing 0 amd the the screen turned off automatically.the red light is still blinking.

Thank-you... This worked.. The phone turned on after disconnecting the battery Cable, but the phone didn't just turn on by pressing power button. So I had to hold both "volume up + power button" together. Then the phone turned on. Later connected the battery cable and it started charging. The red LED is still blinking while charging though.

Straight away my phone turned back on after so long, I've put it on charge, hoping it would work normally, thank you man. Edit => Once it's discharged, faced the same issue, threw away the phone, PROBLEM SOLVED.
