This is one of the best introductory martial arts videos I've seen. Great job! I have zero experience with Hung Gar, but I can't help but notice a bit of overlap with Silat, especially the leg twist.

thank you very much, I really appreciate your comment! I dont have any experience with Silat but Im really curious now so I will look into it. If you would like to learn more, I have an online training program.

Why do they just show the last half of the form?
@KungFuAcademicVercaPartikova2 ай бұрын
Hi! It’s noted in the title it’s just the second half. It is quite common to have the core forms divided into two parts and teach them like that. For a video tutorial it also makes sense. Hope this explanation helps :)
What an inspiring video😊😊 but wt is the length of each ladder? Hope to hear from you soon ❤❤

I love the effort you put into spreading your art. Not all kung fu styles apply the same principle for tan tui, but clarifying that what you show is only hung gar gives you many points. Keep up the good work and you will go far. I hope to meet you in person one day and exchange some ideas. All the best for you.

I trained under Darren and Jesse Gooding, I fell out with the later but it's awesome seeing this show and lau gar was always oneone of my favorite of the four

Sorry I missed your comment! Thank you! I know Jesse :) And Lau Gar is also one of my favorites, and definitely very good to accompany the core forms. If you would like to keep training, I have an online program at www.kungfuacademic.com/coaching

Not good that is Dragon not Tiger. Tiger is short and the arm is bent at the elbow and not extended like yours.

This is not a short version of the fie animals but of the Sup Yin Kuen. I like how it was shorten to meet the tournament rules that the form is not allowed to lats more than 2 minutes.
