TNC switches are commonly installed in EDO type ACB, In MDO ACB,TNC switches can also be used if electrical control is needed, even though the breaker is manually drawn in and out

@EngineersInstitution. No not necessarily if a ACB has TNC Switch it is EDO type is wrong at my site I have ACB not having motor for spring control yet it is MDO Type what I think
