If you were to perhaps look at it as if you breath in the spores it causea hallucinations, but not killing you instantly. I believe she escaped and was fine. The dead that she crossed had gotten infested due pathogens. You get enough dead contaminated in an area the mushroom can take over the surrounding environment causing traps like the one she fell into. If she were to stay longer I think the spore spreading gas would've choked her out and the mush had been able to consume her. The mimic and spore release is all scare tactic and psychological. The wheel should be: contaminate - contaminated spread throughout anything dead - grow and trap.

One thing I realise while watching clips is that in the peach eating scene (the one in the scroll and special) is that his red masky-mark thing is less vibrant and more natural looking and it’s not the lighting because modern macaque is being hit by the same lighting and shading but his mask doesn’t change. And even in the argument scene and brotherhood scene (from episode 2) his mask is still a different shade and less vibrant. And it’s never due to shading or lighting because it’s ether the same shade as the peach eating scene (which is obviously different) or because modern macaque is there and his mask is different, even by only a little. I’m not that great on theories but I do notice stuff so great?

Monkey kid got the eyes wrong wukong's eyes are red in the story
@RVSketch13 күн бұрын
No, Monkie Kid actually got it right. When Sun Wukong was in the furnace, his eyes got "reddened", but the book also says his eyes became "Fiery". "However, wind could chum up smoke, which at that moment reddened his eyes, giving them a permanently inflamed condition. Hence they were sometimes called Fiery Eyes and Diamond Pupils." (Vol 1 CH 7 P189) After that, he is consistently referred to as having "golden pupils" throughout the book. "His golden pupils ablaze, Pilgrim peered into the dark shadows." (Vol 1 CH 18 P373) "The monster turned around and saw the protruding teeth, the gaping mouth, the fiery eyes, the golden pupils, the pointed head, and the hairy face of Pilgrim" (Vol 1 CH 18 P377) "Pilgrim's gold pupils blazed like lightning" (Vol 1 CH 19 P380) It seems his eyes got reddened/inflamed in the furnace, causing them to permanently become golden. Sun Wukong is actually said to be a macaque in the book, and is likely supposed to resemble a Rhesus Macaque: journeytothewestresearch.com/2017/05/17/sun-wukong-and-the-rhesus-macaque/ And Rhesus Macaques have golden eyes, so that is probably why the author had Sun Wukong get golden eyes!

As I rewatched your video again. I had a thought going on in my mind. If NHD really is a guardian then wouldn't he already been gone by now? think about it, we saw in season 5 ep 3 that Nüwa used the stones and herself to fix the pillar so wouldn't the guardians already been fated away because the time running out? It just got stuck in my mind as I thought it makes sense that way. The guardians now were also fating away because their time was up and had to give the gang the stones so wouldn't NHD fated away and give the stone to Nüwa to fix the pillar herself before fating away just like the guardians give the stones to Mk to fix the pillar too? It also would make sense why the guardians trusted Mk the most because it was his destiny to began with just like the past guardians would give the stone to Nüwa because she was the creator of them all and Mk being connected to her as well so it makes EVEN more sense considering why the guardians would give Mk the stones and not other members of the Monkie Kid gang. Mk is connected to the Nüwa and I bet guardians know that very well of it because Mk was meant to be a sacrifies from the beginning but NHD wanted more for him then just Nüwa's new creation to sacrifies to the pillar of itself to fix it.

The NHD said he went into the Chaos, but then came back and got stuck. Maybe the reason he didn't fade previously was because he was in the Chaos at the time 👀

I think the series finale will be mk and all of his friends defeating the chaos in the same way that they defeated the lady bone demon with the power of friendship/4 player as I called it and monkie kings huge staff and with the golden monkie mech and the ending of monkie kid is a festival celebrating the chaos defeat and the series ends off with the final credits and a extended version of it not only with a tribute to flying bark but also wild brain studios

don't stretch the ending too much on here because I don't think season 6 will be the end of LMK. I have seen the JTTW book myself and this book is heck of a FAT book RL! like 1000 plus pages! Macaque’s ‘deal’ with the Python Demon may very well be as consensual as Wukong’s ‘deal’ with the Tang monk when he had the headband forced onto him. The Nine-Headed demon could be misunderstanding Macaque’s initiation into servitude to the Python just as much as the brotherhood thought that Wukong willingly betrayed them to serve the monk (with Macaque interestingly enough being the only one to suggest otherwise, like maybe he remembered something similar happening to him👀). Wukong eventually did join heaven’s side, but it wasn’t willing in the beginning. Macaque could have been bitten by the Python Demon, making their ‘deal’ an unwilling poisoning, and he doesn’t remember because it is the nature of the venom. Or maybe he does remember but was confused by the situation being called a ‘deal’ instead of a ‘curse’ or ‘venom’. Like he was injected with shadows and poisoned with the ability to control them because the power now unwillingly runs through his blood. But now he calls the powers his own. The brotherhood all had reasons to fight heaven for their freedom, and maybe Macaque consciously/unconsciously sought out freedom too because his body remembers that he is bound to another demon and wants out? He feels trapped and doesn’t know why and doesn’t understand why Wukong’s talk about sitting in peaceful paradise is so appealing. And then there’s the interesting bit of Wukong being a THIRD demon (after Python but before LBD) that Macaque doesn’t free from imprisonment, instead choosing to run away from them. The monkey has a bad habit of leaving his ‘heroes’ in cages. Macaque’s servitude to the lady bone demon and Wukong as their warriors was completely consensual, and he ran from them both. Maybe he ran from his first ‘deal’ too, and now that first deal’s cage has finally been opened by a third party just as LBD’s tomb was eventually opened and just as Wukong was eventually freed from the mountain. Mac had to start being a shadow with someone, and the Python could have been the first before he shifted to Wukong and then LBD…and now MK. Though, MK would be the first ‘hero’ that Macaque didn’t run from, since he stopped the kid from jumping into the pillar. Maybe he woke up his chaos powers because he finally added to the chaos of the story by taking independent, free action? Maybe, if he is cursed/poisoned/etc, he is finding the cure on his own? Maybe taking MK’s powers in their first meeting was a cure to the Python’s influence (light power to cure dark influence) just as the Samādhi Fire was a cure for LBD’s chains (fire power to cure cold influence)? (Or maybe Macaque is looking externally for the cure to self-hatred and needs some therapy?) Or maybe the show runners are going to use the Python and its deal to make Macaque a symbolic Eve who ate the apple from the Tree of Knowledge, making him the Six-Earred Macaque - the one who understands and knows all thing past, present, and future? Maybe the gang is going to fight Satan next season, who knows

Interesting theory, though it does feel a bit messy that the snake demon would be just another of the five unless they're planning to explore each of the five for a season. I suspect though that whoever the "he" the 9 headed demon mentioned as 'winning' is the one that brought Macaque back to life, and did so without Macaque knowing who they were. And I have a feeling it'll end up being Pangu. He has the name recognition and is tied to the very start of creation (and in turn chaos). And in some myths, he also strongly linked to monkeys. I do think you're right though that the sets likely tell us important information based on what's in the set, vs what actually happens in the show. And in that regard, I think it's rather interesting that one figure has appeared twice in sets, yet hasn't shown up in the show, outside of flashbacks, even though they're supposed to be incredibly important to JTTW. And that is Erlang Shen, the one human that was stronger than Wukong, and that Wukong feared. There's a whole rabbit hole that you can go down with him as the guy has a huge amount of legends associated with him, but what is important here is that JTTW, through Wukong and Erlang serves as a passing of the torch and redefining of order vs chaos, primarily through water. Again, big rabbit hole, but long story short, floods in China are associated with chaos, and those that cause floods are often seen as creatures of chaos. This primarily goes back to Yu the Great, who helped stopped the great flooding/sleighed the great water dragon, and helped stabilise heaven by making a staff, the exact same one that Wukong use and MK use. He also fought a demon called Wuzhiqi, who is very important as they are the basis of Wukong conceptually. The original Wukong in a way. You might even say that that was the first cycle, one before the JTTW cycle. Wuzhiqi is also heavily associated with water, and thus chaos, and are sealed away under a mountain as part of the plan to stop the great flood, hence why many depictions of wukong also tie him to chaos and possibly what they're using as the basis for MK's connection to chaos. It also happens that the final big obstacle in JTTW to overcome is a giant water dragon. As for Erlang, he's known as the 'other' flood guy in chinese history. The original Erlang helped stop another flood and then after that whenever someone stopped another major flood, they were believed to be a reincarnation of Erlang (likely the reason they didn't call them a reincarnation of Yu was because Yu became emperor and to say that you're the reincarnation of an emperor can cause quite a bit of trouble, which wasn't present with Erlang). Erlang thus became the guy most associated with protecting against chaos and so it was natural that when Wukong, a demon tied to water and chaos showed up, that Erlang was the one that countered him, and help seal him away based on his reputation for controlling floods. Apologies for the rambling, though there's plenty more to delve into on the topic.
@RVSketchАй бұрын
The "he" could also be Hun Dun 👀 Thanks for the info on Erlang Shen - that's really interesting! I do hope he appears in the show - and his dog 🐕
@Cakatarn1Ай бұрын
@@RVSketch Yeah, Huh Dun is another strong possibility, though I feel like if they did him, they'd connect him to other figures like they did with the 9 headed demon, since Hun Dun doesn't have too much much name regonition on his own. Maybe connect him to qilin, since they didn't appear like they were supposed to? Or I suppose Wuzhiqi is another possibility, though I do still prefer the idea that they were Wukong/MK equivalent in the cycle before the JTTW one. But maybe the idea the way they are intended to 'fix' things is by throwing the sacrifice into the chaos. As for Erlang, well considering one of the two known sets for next year is called Erlang's Mech, it feels like there's a good chance he will show up. Rather than just being a character on the side of another set that the story writers might find too hard to fit in (like what happened last time Erlang was in a set, though I suppose he did get two frames in the show), I doubt they'd ignore a character that gets a mech. So I do think looking more into Erlang could be useful, though there's so much to his lore, and they might just go in a new direction anyway. It will definitely be interesting to see how they do him, since Nezha has kinda taken his role, and considering he wasn't around last season where you'd think he should be given the situation, I do fear they might make him the villain of the season.
