Venture is incredibly fun and i hope it shows the devs that people like unique experiences and they stop making so many thibgs like illari and mauga where they have bland kits like illari is literally ashe as a support and mauga is bastion as a tank with a rein charge, which would be fine if they didnt play exactly like them too, abilities can match like ashe and illari both are sniper archetypes with a super jump that boops peoppe away so they play identical outside of one being a support and the other tossing a tnt every few seconds and both mauga and bastion just go burr while their cooldown is active snd than they both just go into power saving mode until their cool downs are off with the same primary guns but ventures closest example is doomfist who was also super unique as a dps and still is as a tank so i hope spaceranger is also super unique. As for marvel rivals, its 3rd person and looks like a mobile game, so theres no way it takes overwatches audiance outside of maybe a few shavings off the end that would have left anyway due to some other reason more related to just overwatch fking something they enjoyed up like pve or 5v5. But its definitely not gonna be the overwatch killer because the reason overwatch is so popular is because it took those archetypes like double jumping ninja that you nornally only seen in 3rd person and put it ina 1st person comp shooter, which extends to tank and support, which normally was only ever in bev(birds eye veiw) or 3rd person games but overwatch allowed us to be the front line from an mmo in 1st person so we legitimately feel like the tank and thats why its special, the secret formula is literally making unique experiences like venture inna 1st person setting, so you cant make boring cod guns like the finals did and you cant be 3rd person if you wanna compeete with overwatch, almost the only rules you gotta follow outside of polish your game and make the movement and gunplay satisfying.

i tried it out of xbox pass and now got it on steam too. made my own private server and got few friends to play. we are having a blast. very surprising.. didnt expect to have this much fun :) very charming game and some locations are very gorgeous.

Oh and yeah, I agree with your takes on OW2. As always, the game has become greedy with monetization but at this stage it’s probably just a greater conversation about how the gaming industry has shifting to live service free 2 play models instead of shipping out fully developed and packaged products like old times. That said, Nintendo is still doing great things for example, Zelda tears of the kingdom was so perfect when released. It’s been updated 1 time since it’s may 23 release and I’m STILL playing it to this day. I’m still grinding through all the quests and finding collectibles. I long for the days that games are released completely developed and don’t do anything to force micro transactions. So props to Nintendo for still putting out quality. Same can’t be said for all these other game developers like a to vision blizzard etc.

Im also interested in the new Warcraft rumble. I’m open to it! If it’s great I’ll play. Otherwise I don’t know if o can take on ANOTHER iPhone centric game if it’s going to take away from hearthstone haha. I can only give so much attention to iPhone gaming! 😅

I really enjoyed this blizzard breakdown ep! My review? Play hearthstone! #1 I’m not aware of any OW characters in hearthstone. You may be thinking of “heroes of the storm” which is blizzards LoL take. #2 hearthstone has 2 major ways to play. Standard mode or Wild. Wild uses every expansion the game has ever used but I play standard. Which is just the last 2 years of expansions/cards. I’ve been playing for 2.5 years so my deck is fully integrated into the standard mode meta and I have access to basically any card I encounter. I’ve always been intimidated by WILD. So I don’t bother haha. #3 I’ve put some $$ into the game initially to purchase some new decks BUT I realized the game does a great job of giving away tons of free content, decks and hero/card skins if you grind. I don’t spend any money on the game anymore. So it’s definitely a great user friendly game for beginners to jump into! I’ve always been intimidated by real life card games like magic the gathering but the game based on your phone makes it accessible to anyone. Anyways! That’s my take! Oh yeah, and I agree Daredvil was an AWESOME Netflix show and I would totally play a video game based off the shown. Love the podcast, keep it up guys!! 🎉🎉

I totally agree about the perfect balance in tone. It can be tragic, heart wrenching, but also humorous and wholesome. Probably going to comment as I listen along, but a few small corrections: the guy Kage lived with actually died. Those tears he cried were him dying. Kage never suspected Despa at the dinner in the bar. And he only paid off the brothers to start a fight, not fake a fight! They actually lost to Bojji.

to understand the kessoku band pun it goes like this. kessokuband = zip tie and kessoku band = unity band. when read as one word it means ziptie but when read separately it reads as unity band.

this seems like a hella professional review by the looks of it, your audio is crisp and the info is helpful. but a bit more info in to the development would greatly help the viewer. One thing though, you take way to many long pauses, the visuals can go along while you speak. long pauses are great but too many and you loose focus. But overall, really good video man
