interesting that Bob did Neil Young's song at one point he said he hated Neil copying him in the Beginning. It's a classis song written when Neil was 24.

Not that important, however, what did he say about "he can't make it" at the beginning

It’s funny but there’s a video somewhere out there of George talking about Bob and his habit of singing unrecognisable versions of his songs. George gives it a go with “Something” putting on a Dylan drawl. I wonder if Bob saw that clip and decided to sing the same song, but in a wonderful, touchingly recognisable way. Lovely tribute Bob.

Great version, and a great video. You can really see Bob interacting with Charlie Sexton and Larry Campbell while they "paint" a song. Three or four nights later, they might paint a song differently.

@@tomdale1313 Your not the first person who’s remarked on this. Several music critics, journalists, and others have commented on his similarity to Chaplin, especially early in Dylan’s career; some said he reminded them of the “Little Tramp.”

@@donbailey4641 I’m glad to know you’re enjoying it! 😊 I was very lucky to be at NY’s Madison Square Garden to capture this. Dylan and Harrison were indeed close friends. I have a lot more video footage of Dylan in concert that never circulated previously. I’m working on uploading as much of it to the channel now as quickly as I can, in the best quality I can. I hope you’ll take a look if you haven’t already, and find some other nice performances there to enjoy.

Saw him at the RAH in London last November. He walked on, played around 6 unintelligible songs and walked off. No words. I was really upset at the waste of money - I love his recordings though. I even bought a beanie hat with Rough and Rowdy ways on it for £35. That cheered me up a bit. Sad for him- sad for me

It’s been said Dylan thinks this song was rippin off his music (it was) not surprising he would cover it live as popular it became, loved by many. Even though he personally didn’t care for it himself. Among his great talents, Bob is a performer (thank goodness) ✌️🫶🕊️

This is confirmation of Conan O'Brien's story of meeting Bob Dylan! Conan said that he was shuffled into a room among a group of people and suddenly he was face to face with Bob Dylan and he said to Conan, "I know you from the TV!" in his typical Bob Dylan cadence.. and then Al Gore called Conan over to him and as soon as Conan turned his head to respond to Al Gore, the room of people shifted and Bob Dylan was gone, and Bob Dylan confirms the story right here at the beginning. Very fun piece of correlation. 🙂

You’re very welcome. This is just video #1 of a series of more than 20 new videos I’m working on featuring Dylan’s live “covers” over the years of songs Timothee Chalamet sings as Dylan in A Complete Unknown. If you already saw this info, sorry for repeating. I’m working on the next now, another Song to Woody from 12 years earlier which should be ready to upload in the next couple of days. 😁 There’s a series playlist on the channel which will be updated with each new video as they come out. It already includes some of my previous videos that fit the series theme.
