I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when this record came out. The way on Goodbye Jimmy Reed it’s like he’s shaking hands with the guy from Highway 61 one last time… and MMF one of his greatest songs dropping as it did right in the early midst of Covid-19… I wasn’t expecting to get such a vital Dylan moment in my time, so long after the 60s and 70s, in such a different world..Saw him a few years later, 2023 in.a semi full theatre in Seville. Phenomenal band, they ended on a deeply felt version of every grain of sand. Choked up a bit. My dad passed in 2018. I know how much he would have loved this record. Thanks Bob, wherever, whoever you are.

It's Neil Young singing about being an old man at 24. Dylan put on the spot. Wonder why he acted weird. Still outshined the young men though

Looked abit like he was put on the spot to play the old man. And put them to shame

Amazing footage considering we all had to give up our phones during the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour. I saw three nights in a row during this Beacon run. Setlist was identical from night to night, but a total different vibe each night.

Dylan never stops rearranging his own songs. Even from night to night, but even more so in different periods of his life. It's like watching a painter paint the same painting, yet each one is totally different than the one that came before, let alone the original. Amazing.

Mama, You Been On My Mind WRITTEN BY: BOB DYLAN Perhaps it’s the color of the sun cut flat An’ cov’rin’ the crossroads I’m standing at Or maybe it’s the weather or something like that But mama, you been on my mind I don’t mean trouble, please don’t put me down or get upset I am not pleadin’ or sayin’, “I can’t forget” I do not walk the floor bowed down an’ bent, but yet Mama, you been on my mind Even though my mind is hazy an’ my thoughts they might be narrow Where you been don’t bother me nor bring me down in sorrow It don’t even matter to me where you’re wakin’ up tomorrow But mama, you’re just on my mind I am not askin’ you to say words like “yes” or “no” Please understand me, I got no place for you t’ go I’m just breathin’ to myself, pretendin’ not that I don’t know Mama, you been on my mind When you wake up in the mornin’, baby, look inside your mirror You know I won’t be next to you, you know I won’t be near I’d just be curious to know if you can see yourself as clear As someone who has had you on his mind 6 28 24 MM
