I remember being about 8 years old living in Lenoir North Carolina, my 2nd grade teacher Had an intern from App State. Really Nice Lady, one day she told me if I get 100 on my math test she’ll get me an Autograph from Armanti. Fast forward to a week later. Sure enough she came through, and it was a picture of him playing against Michigan. Very Appreciative of both of them. I Hope they’re Doing Well

I know Tiffany and Co. made the trophy but what was the silversmiths name that actually hand crafted the trophy? I only ask because I believe it was my grandfather who hand crafted it. My grandfather moved to the US in 1955 as a master silver smith and was the silversmith for Tiffany and Co. If this trophy was made by Tiffany after 1955 it would make sense. I have been told it was my grandfather but I want to verify.

Thank you coach. I grew up in Atlanta. I played fottball at Briarcliff High where Pat Lombardi played. I played quarterback but got out after 9 th grade. I could not see over the line. But from 2 nd grade to 9th, I learned what is the foundation of football, the line, particularly the CENTER. I have my 4 favorites off all time. Tommy Malone, who protected my spine in school. You, who I saw many times, but mostly when you coached. ( My step mother was the head administer for Tom Cousins, and my sister was the best friend of Jack Griffin's daughter, Leigh. So we had tickets to everything. Then 2 #57's. Dwight Stephenson. And finally the one man who should be in the Hall, JEFF van NOTE. Take a rib shot from the blind side and then tell me the center is not THE CENTER of the game. I think of linemen as bodyguards. Leigh's Dad passed in 2012? David's dad Wayland Moore passed in 2022. I hope one day we will see Jeff in the Hall. God bless, coach.

Wow. This guy brings back memories. And not about football. He was the biggest bully in the entire Parkview high school history. He used his size to intimidate younger students (me) lol, for some reason and was a fucking terror. I hadn't hit my last growth spurt yet and I think I was a sophomore when he was a senior. Dude would go out of his way to fuck with me. I had long hair, baggy pants, etc. He was some big man on campus because "football". To put things in perspective Parkview in the 90's was run by coaches, meatheads, and rednecks (not "good ol' boys" but rednecks) . He would push me, shove me, try and grab my hair. One time while in the locker room while I was getting dressed he drug me around yelling he was going to cut my hair off until a coach stopped him. My theory is he was a little "closeted" and he wanted to keep my long luscious locks so he could smell them at night, lol. He must have had some strange feelings and just didn't know how to respond, so violence and intimidation was his response. Just a theory... Anyhow, I really hope he has changed over the years and his bullying past is long behind him. I'd love to see him use his platform to speak out against bullying in our schools, and the harm it can cause. What do you say Matt? #StopBullying.

Smart, Yes, athletic, yes, charismatic, yes, connected, yes, wise, yes, BUT with all of that.....he's a democrat. Has all of this criticisms for DJT but NONE for JRB. Why for a person with all of the above can he not criticize JRB or any democrat for that matter. Call a spade a spade. I don't care for anyone who sees ONLY in one direction.
@dcj-bz4on4 ай бұрын
He’s not a democrat he’s a registered independent.
@jwhit38494 ай бұрын
@@dcj-bz4on there is no such thing as a “registered” independent. His views are known and he is critical of conservatives.
@dcj-bz4on4 ай бұрын
@@jwhit3849 you are wrong. In some states it’s called “unaffiliated” others it is called “independent” and in both cases you REGISTER as such. He has said “I can’t be a Republican because I’m not a fan of Donald Trump. I can’t be a Democrat because I’m pro life.” Don’t want to cast aspersions, but I have a hunch you are of the mindset that anyone who is critical of Donald Trump, is a de facto Democrat…..Ironic because DJT is NOT a Conservative!!!
@michaeljohnston6727Ай бұрын
And he admired Colin Powell, Powell was a true conservative and he admonished DJT. I agree with your statement that you don't care for anyone that sees ONLY in one direction. Can you tell me that DJT does not deserve the criticism?
@jwhit3849Ай бұрын
@@michaeljohnston6727 he’s unorthodox in his delivery but his policies worked. He’s not bought and paid for like many politicians. He needs staff that will advise him correctly. He lacked that last time. FBI and CIA worked against him and many conservatives. Can’t have that if you want to be successful.

I kicked myself off of a voluntary Personal Security Detachment. I was getting a wire brushing from my HHC Commander. I told him my thoughts about leaving, but he couldn't deny the integrity of my intention. I was supposed to be a safety brief pitch, and I quit my team for honor violation in front of the company. Still makes me think.
