Metal iems are not always better than plastic ones. They are almost always heavier, easier to get scratch marks on, and can get really uncomfortable after wearing for many hours.

@@Melancholii5725 fair enough. But the plastic iems feel very slippery. Where i live, the climate is really humid and I get very sweaty.

very late response, but to answer the question, the two bands means that it is stereo sound (both ears) three bands just means that it has a microphone, which these IEMs don't. hope this helps :)

My least used set. I did recently get some tangzu tang sencai tips for it though, and it works as intended. No more pressure without having to use foams!

@@PrinceZirconium I bought directly from the guy that makes these on taobao. I can speak chinese so I got customs but universal fit. He offers custom fit if u can provide it to him one way or another.

Don't have a pair with me now but from what I remember, the bass on hype 2 very slightly better techs and physicality. Mids and treble is still better on monarch

Decent iem, but that stock cable is terrible. I normally don’t think cables change the sound, but putting a cheap nicehck cable on it cleared the sound up. Maybe going from copper to silver? Idk, I’m sure either way the nicehck cable has less resistance. Maybe my cable was just a bad one?

I honestly did not like the sound on these. I think changing cables may help but the overall tuning is still not to my personal taste. Glad that you seem to enjoy them :)

@@bakkwatan I barely use it, but its just a slight v shaped. Nice staging, but I normally use $40-$600 iems so it was more of a curiosity purchase lol.

Great review. I think Tangzu has recently discontinued the Wu Zetian which leaves only Heyday atm.

hey there, I would recommend the TangZu Wan Er. If you can spend a bit more, the blon x hbb Z300s are a great option :)
