Congrats man, thats some achievement in that time scale 👍🏻 thanks for sharing your story as well, had one of the worst years of my life last year then started off this year loosing my uncle so i aint felt like doing much rc stuff lately, but these speed runs really get me motivated to get out and film something, im never going to be at the top of the list but i enjoy watching everyones runs and other content from around the globe... just currently watching this whilst working on my 144001, its dusty, iv pinched the electrics for something else and cant remember what now 😂 got a esc and motor together so just need a servo and im ready to make some runs... better order some spares too i think 👍🏻 good luck brother. @ absolutely man cant wait to run these and being a year long challenge theres no rush or thinking i have to get a run in, like having a laid back approach to things 👍🏻 ill ask a few channels i follow see if they want to get involved

The 17mm adaptors do increase the wheel choice. I have just finished a build and the car sounds terrible, had it apart 3 times so looked on line finding out you can get noisy gears so will have to run it like that.

I had one like that it was a SPF650 or something like that it just sounded aweful. It ran ok but sounded awefule.. I got this guy all better filmed part 2 already. Going to run it on the track tommorow its a cool car with new tire sponsor it gives me another rig to run the 17mm on. Hope your doing well buddy.. I want to get the DT04 so bad now haha.. Your fault..

@@reitplace4765 It's my Saint Dragon, my Thunder Dragon same gearbox runs nice. It's the bevel gears I found out they can be cast badly now as the mounds are worn. But funny how some are good others bad. I'm hoping to take it this morning but it's very cold.

very much so , that is my biggest worry and why i decided it needed a part two after tear down.. I'm going to beef up all the rods and ends and lower the pinnion with lower kv motor applying all the good info from you guys see if it will work.. Great fun can’t wait till my car gets in. Quick question are 1/12 engines the same size as the 1/10 i know the buggies are different size but did not know if the engines are different sizes since i need to buy all the electronics and engine on the roller. Also i subbed you up buddy. Mike at @BNVRC signed me up already but I’m in officially. Also these all have to be rollers and we build them or can they come with engines or electronics? Thanks

It was all me I didnt want to take it out of the car and didnt hook up the balance port.. Total rockie move.. glad i was there to catch it.. And so true the critters have to live in it I just go visit haha
